So, Thanksgiving has come in gone, and in its wake, I’m sure it left lots of left-overs behind for everyone.
It was left-overs that got me thinking about this week’s topic. Movies you can rewatch infinitely. Sometimes I refer to them as “Black Hole Movies”, because if they’re on cable, I can’t escape their gravitational pull.
Now, mind you, these can be your favorite movies, but they don’t have to be. For example, “Jaws” is one of my top ten, but I’ve also watched “Road House”, “Rocky III”, and “Rocky IV” about a billion times each. It’s gotten to the point where I’m ready to do a “Caine/Hackman Theory” research project on them, because I think between the three of them, one of them is always on TV at any point of day or night!
What movies suck you in for repeat viewings? Which ones can’t you get enough of? What movies turn you into a toddler, selecting the same DVD over and over and over?

Back to the Future! I don’t care if it’s movie one, two or three. I love the whole trilogy and I’ll never (ever!) get tired of it. I watch them whenever they are on TV and sometimes also on DVD. I still can’t believe the awesomeness of Back to the Future

I got a Mexican restaraunt that openend in my town like five years ago now, and on their breakfast menu they had Chorizo and eggs. LOL. I am not even kidding when I say I ate breakfast there every weekend for like three months straight, just so I could order that, BECAUSE of Midnight Run.
Listen, not that Grosse Point Blank is anything to sneeze at… but Midnight Run strikes a chord with me!

I love me some Bladerunner, I just picked it to champion on the Lamb’s MOTM this month. We’ll see how it goes. Meanwhile, I’m on a Lambcast about the Aliens. So I’m going to be studying up on all of these.
I prefer the extended LOTRs myself. You wouldnt think that would be the case with movies that were already well over 2 hrs each, but it is!
