New Episode of The (title pending) Movie Podcast with Tank and Fogs!

Hello, and welcome to another edition of The (title pending) Movie Podcast! Sorry we’re late this week folks, it’s on me, I haven’t been up to my usual YAH! strength.

In this week’s episode, the Tankster and I break down a very surprising week at the box office, then go into our featured reviews of the week - “Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance”, and “This Means War”!

But the prime real estate here is our Oscar preview… Mr Tanski and I go over all the major categories, breaking down the contenders and making our predictions! We also cover the “who we’d like to win even though they dont have much of a chance”s. Call it our Oscar Preview Special, if you will.

As always, it’s an entertaining podcast full of movie related goodness from your hosts, Tank and Fogs. You can download or play the episode directly from our Buzzsprout page HERE, or search for us and/or subscribe on iTunes!

Please remember to stop by our Facebook page and give us a “like”! Thanks to everyone so far who has, we’re off to a really great start!

  1. For my prediction’s sake, I hope your wright that the artist actors are sliding back in hype. I chose both Spencer and Clooney to win, and I want to break that 70% predictions barrier this year!
I also think Christopher Plummer will win. The Oscars will be just like you and choose him for sentimentality. I’m okay with that.
As for the dog, I’m pretty sure he is based off of the famous movie dog Asta from the 30s, who is probably the most charming dog to ever appear in films. If you don’t believe me, check out The Thin Man or Bringing Up Baby. And if you haven’t seen either of those, you should check them out anyways just because they’re great movies.

    • I will cop to the fact I havent seen “Bringing up Baby” Ian, you got me on that one… :D

Can’t see ‘em all. You can try though!! LOL

I still… I mean, I dont KNOW anything, you know how it goes but I still THINK Clooney wins. You know?

  2. (Still listening so you might correct this)

The last Best Picture/Director split was at the 2006 Oscars. Crash won Best Picture, and Ang Lee won Best Director for Brokeback Mountain.
