To refresh everyone’s memory, back in December I posted a “Tossin’ It Out There” designed to get people talking to each other here. In order to post a new comment, people had to leave a comment on someone else’s post. I’d really like to encourage people to feel free to add their comments to other people’s comments in order to foster discussion here, so I thought that was a good way to get that ball rolling.
It was pretty well received.
So I’d like to do it again, maybe make it a regular topic every couple of months. Here’s the “Rules”:
1) Before you can start a “New Reply”, you have to reply to someone else’s comment. Each comment should have their own reply link on it – use that to place your reply on someone elses. Obviously the first person to comment today is excepted from that.
2) Once you have commented on someone’s comment, please start a comment of your own. This way, the discussion will grow, and people will get more options for making their initial reply. Last time, some people got a little hung up by replying to others, but then not leaving their own comments.
3) You’re free, of course, to comment afterwards freely as you see fit!
Let’s all remember that the purpose here is to have some fun and foster conversation between all the people who visit the blog, so be respectful… Also be on the lookout and try to hook up some comments that aren’t getting any love as best you can. LOL.
Today’s topic is easy and fun. Share a laugh that you remember from a movie. Something that cracks you up. Could be a joke. Could be a sight gag. Could be unintentional comedy… perhaps it’s something you laugh at that the director doesn’t WANT you to! LOL. Whatever it is, whether it’s from a comedy or just a moment within a serious movie. If it makes you laugh, its fair game. Try to bring up a specific moment though, and not an entire movie. Although today’s judges will be especially lenient.
Ok? Hopefully everyone gets the idea…
