I upload this episode for everyone with a mischievous grin on my face….
Due to our recent Lammy nomination, I finally cross the line. After weeks of listening to Tanski crooning made up lyrics to open our show, I finally break down, rewrite some lyrics, and hop on the Mic myself. Yes, in this episode we proudly present “Nom or Lammy”, our plea for consideration in the best podcast category.
People who are more self-conscious would probably be too embarrassed to do things like this, but not Tanski and I, apparently. That’s all I’m going to say at this point.
It’s pretty much a must listen to episode though, you’re guaranteed a good time. In addition to a new TPMP original, we bust out regular segments “Has Tank Seen Scarface” and “The Box Office Roundup” and for our featured reviews we discuss “Piranha 3DD” and “Snow White and the Huntsmen”. Finally, in our featured discussion, Tank and I play a new game that really came out well…. we wound up having a lot of fun with it and plan to do it again at some point. We’re going to call it the “TPMP Studios”… well, at least the next time we bust it out we will.
It’s going to be an episode that people are going to be talking about, be sure not to miss out! You can download it directly here… or as always, look for us on iTunes or Stitcher!
Here’s a link to the (title pending) Facebook page so that you can give us a “Like” and follow all the “Nom or Lammy” fallout feedback!!

I don’t usually have time to listen but, after our talk in Sunday I’ve been waiting for it. I was laughing so hard, I practically had tears running down my cheeks! AND I’ve had the song in my head all morning!!
Give us a Facebook share Brotha! Spread the joy!
Glad you enjoyed, I had a feeling this would be one that cracked people up.
Will do. Also, I’ve already liked you blog page on FB. Does the podcast have it’s own, too?
Yep!
Thanks man, and here you go!

Totally been singing it all day myself!
TPMP has its own FB page also.
Have downloaded it to disc for blatant embarrassing playback. Marie’s in New York catching as many Tony Nom plays(and musicals) as she can before Sunday. Wait till she hears this! Remember her family actually sing together. You’ll have a hard time living this one down! Just an aside, nice job Dan.
LOL… glad you enjoyed.
I think you need to invest in a bit of a technology upgrade for her, but I’m happy she’ll get to hear it too!
I know she’s 2 centuries behind but what upgrade are you talking about?
An iPhone, and iPod, an mp3 player… something!
Another reason not to skip an episode, you never know what Magic you will be missing. Fun, as always!
OMG, you guys are over the top! Do they give Lammies for original songs? No? I can’t imagin why?
You say you don’t drink, but after that song I have my doubts. Great podcast! Can we expect a song every week? Fogs, you’ll have to get the old band back together. Tank & Fogs can be the new Hall & Oats!
LOL.
The “Practice Skipping Bastards” have scattered across the country now, unfortunately.
I dont even know if I could find my old mics. Heh.
I dont know if the weekly tune is going to become a (title pending) staple or not. That’s been Tank’s arena until this week. LOL. Its the Lammys. They bring out the worst in me.
I dont drink any MORE, but I think the damage may be permanent. There’s really something to that theory.
That was AWESOME!! I enjoyed pcast and hilarious song.
I’ve gotten so accustomed to Tank’s song intro that intially I was deflated only to have a laugh riot after your composition inspired by Flight of the Conchords Muppets song. Well done.
Win lose or draw, I think that that song is going to make Lammys 2012 worthwhile for TPMP. It was a ton of fun DOING it, and I’ve gotten a ton of positive feedback on it.
Glad you enjoyed, I really am!
You guys are awesome. Laughed myself sick over that opening song. Agree on Piranha 3DD. It was nothing but silly fun. The MOD lists it as a comedy. Even some of the deaths were funny. (“No, they walk slow on land”. Splatt!) That final bit about pitching a movie was just gold. I actually pictured The McKenzie Brothers doing that bit. I think this is the best podcast I’ve ever heard.
I need to take my share of credit on this one, but I have to say, your son is off the hook now. He’s got something else fun lined up this week (although it’ll most likely be awhile before we top “Nom or Lammy” lol)
Anyways, we’re having a lot of fun, and people are responding well, so it all looks very bright from here at this point.
