Hey everybody, we’re back with a new episode of (title pending) for your listening pleasure!
This time up, we have an awesome, awesome episode for you. The box office only brought us one new release (“Resident Evil: Retribution”), one re-release (“Finding Nemo 3D”), and one limited release (“The Master”), so Tank and I call an audible and bring back one of our favorite guests, Jason Gross, of Rediscover the 80s!
It was the right call. This turned out to be a very, very fun episode, and you’re all sure to enjoy it. We kick it off with our first (title pending) Game Show, “Name That Movie Scene”, where Jason’s alter ego gives us a song title and artist, and Tank and I have to name the movie and scene its from. We have a blast, Jay is great as host, and there’s plenty of great movie and movie music discussion. As if that weren’t enough, Tank, Jay and I take turns discussing our favorite movie soundtracks!
For an off week, Tank and I changed it up, and found a way to put out an absolute winner for you all, check it out!!
You can download the episode directly, here, or find us on iTunes or Stitcher Radio by searching for (title pending) or Tank and Fogs! Have fun!

7,423,613. Saturday Night Fever.
AHHHHHHH HAHAHAHAAAAAA!!!
Thats really funny. Thats great. I like that.
I was gonna say I like all three of your selections, but now I see I need to be on the defensive, here!
Disco is the E.T. of music genres…the minute you think it’s dead, it will come back to life and perk up a flower pot near you. Although sometimes when I find myself listening to Saturday Night Fever I feel like my body was abducted by aliens.
It’s more like the the zombie of music genres. It’s dead. It’s been dead for a long time. It smells really bad. and it wants to eat your brains.
I disagree, but I have to confess that comment made me chuckle. LOL
Not anything really cool or hip, But I still love “The Lion King” soundtrack. Listened to that a lot when I was younger.
LOL. Well, Jason basically selected the Despicable Me soundtrack, so I wouldnt worry too much about “hip or cool” LOL.
Hakuna Matata Robb
“Circle of Life” Robb ; nice 1
Fogs, you must be having a bad bad day…if you take it personal, that’s okay.
Nah, whatever man! If people are listening, they can bash disco and take cartoon soundtracks all they want!
Fogs, that is one of the best pcasts yet. Awesome! From Tank’s intro to ludicrous speed to a HILARIOUS game from JGross. Really good stuff.
Solid Sountracks:
Grosse Point Blank
The Wall
Pump Up The Volume
Vision Quest
Boomerang
Ohhhh fer godssakes, how could I forget “The Wall”. I feel like a moron. I guess, in my poor defense, I think of it more as a straight up album, even though I know the movie well.
Damn it!
I have the “Grosse Pointe Blank” soundtrack, S, it is really good!
Thanks, S! I too see The Wall as more of an album as it’s never been really promoted as a soundtrack.
GPB has a great mix and Vision Quest is very underrated. Love that Red Rider song, Tom Cochrane before he hit the “highway.”
you’re right- The Wall is more of a straight up album.
Great stuff guys. The game show made me laugh quite a bit. And you deserve losing those points due to your lack of enthusiasm for Back to the Future.
Hahahah. LOL.
Yeah, that’s gonna come back and haunt me, I can tell. LOL
I had fun with that game even though I lost. Jason gets so enthusiastic that its contagious. Like, how do you even think to work in those commercials?? Thats good stuff. Good stuff.
