…and we’re back!

What is going on people??!!

The GOOD thing about skipping a show (as we were forced to do last week) is that the return episode is always loaded with reviews! This week, the Tankster and I touch base on “Seeking a Friend for the End of the World”, “Magic Mike”, “Ted”, “Savages”, and “The Amazing Spider-Man”! That’s a bunch of movies to cover!

We move into a special segment afterwards… oh yes. “Confessions” time. Inspired by the UnderScoopFire.com podcast episode where the crew unleash all their “haven’t seen”, “don’t like”, and “secretly love” confessions, Tanski and I break out our version.

And let me just tell you, for two guys that start out by saying “This is going to be pretty lame, I really don’t have anything”, we sure do wind up almost killing each other by the end of the segment! LOL. :D

When a young boy who’s lonely for a friend makes a wish that his teddy bear was really alive, his wish magically comes true. And while that’s a magical, sweet, incredible thing for a young boy… no one anticipated how things would be a couple of decades down the road. Ted would wind up being an unemployed, middle-aged foul-mouthed teddy bear with substance abuse problems. Which is bad enough in and of itself, but it’s also causing issues for the now grown-up boy.

An attachment to a teddy bear has a way of holding a man back in life.  

“Ted” is vulgar, fun, and funny. The central “joke” of a foul-mouthed living Teddy Bear may wear a little thin by the end of the film, but it still has a lot of very funny moments and filth to spare. Easy to recommend for fans of partying humor everywhere.

:D  What’s goin’ on everyone? BIG episode of (title pending) for you this week. Just jam packed.

We lead off with a crazy Box Office Roundup (Holy Cow!) and another episode of “Has Tank Seen Scarface?”. Then it’s on to Part II of our Summer Movie Preview, where we discuss the movies that are coming up for the months of July and August, including “The Amazing Spider-Man”, “The Dark Knight Rises”, “The Watch”, “Ted”, “Total Recall” and more!

Then we conclude in spectacular fashion with our review of “The Avengers”! Fair warning that we get into spoilers pretty quickly, but for those of you who got out to see it, it’s an enthusiastic recounting of all our favorite moments. :D
