Summer is finally upon us! With this Friday’s release of “Iron Man 3″, the 2013 Summer Movie season officially begins!
The summer season is defined by big budget, high-profile releases, and this summer is no exception. We’ll cover what’s coming out in May and June today, and then look at July and August tomorrow.

Cheese-tastic Classics is back! This time up we have classic of the genre, a movie that lives 1/4 mile at a time, “The Fast and the Furious”!
With its hip hop soundtrack, smoke shows, machismo, and gear head talk, “The Fast and the Furious” is a beloved serving of cheesy goodness. People even forgive it for ripping off the high concept of “Point Break”. It’s a high-octane, testosterone fueled, NOS charged thrill ride. Plus it features one of the greatest bromances of all time!
That’s right, “The Fast and the Furious” is an entertainment masterpiece. Your brain is quietly saying “C’mon”, but you cannot deny you’ve got a big old smile on your face.

HBO’s big new premiere this weekend was 2011′s “Fast Five”, the fifth installment in “The Fast and the Furious” franchise.
“Fast Five” returns all the major players – Paul Walker, Vin Diesel, Jordana Brewster – plus returns several familiar faces from prior chapters such as Tyrese Gibson, Gal Gadot, Sung Kang, and Ludacris. This time, though, they up the ante by adding Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson to the mix.
But even though they assembled a “Fast and Furious” dream team, can they recapture the high-octane magic of previous outings?
