“Forget about the curveball Ricky!! Give ’em the heater!!”
Oh, Charlie Sheen. We love you. Please be crazy forever.
Now Sheen is claiming that, for his role as Rick “Wild Thing” Vaughn in the comedy classic “Major League”, he used steroids. “I was already bitchy because — let’s just say that I was enhancing my performance a little bit. It was the only time I ever did steroids. I did them for like six or eight weeks,” he’s quoted as saying. “You can print this, I don’t give a f–k. My fastball went from 79 [mph] to like 85.”
Sheen goes on to say that he quit them after they caused him to lose his temper.
“Well, I wasn’t doing enough to be completely insane — just a little bitchier than normal. When you combine the haircut with all of those comments, you’ve got a recipe for disaster.”
LOL. I want to know what kind of behavior would qualify for Charlie’s criteria of “Completely Insane”. Seriously though, can we forget getting this guy a sitcom and just get him a reality show already? I mean, God! Isn’t it the ultimate no brainer television production decision of all time?
Meanwhile, unlike steroid abuse in REAL Baseball, I think this only adds to my love for “Major League”. My kinda team, Charlie, it’s my kinda team.
