New Episode of The (title pending) Movie Podcast with Tank and Fogs!!

What’s up, (title pending) listeners, here’s a brand new episode for you!

Once again we have full slate of new releases to review for you. This week, it’s a wide variety – the animated “Hotel Transylvania,” the inspirational “Won’t Back Down”, Paul Thomas Anderson’s high brow “The Master”, and the time traveling “Looper”. There’s plenty to discuss, together these movies cover a wide gamut of movie styles!

In our featured discussion of the week, we talk about “Looper” star Bruce Willis. Willis has had a storied career, stretched out over 3 decades now, and he’s given us a diverse range of offerings, from undeniable classics… truly some of the best movies ever… to extreme mail-in jobs that make you wonder if he’s just collecting a check. Tank and I tell you like it is!

It’s another fantastic episode, so be sure to give it a listen! You can download it directly here, or as always, look for us on iTunes or Stitcher Radio by searching for title pending and/or Tank and Fogs!

  1. Interesting broadcast today. Lots of good thoughts on Bruce Willis. I do think both you and Tank underrate Willis as a straight actor. Between Die Hard, 12 Monkeys, 6th Sense, Unbreakable, Hart’s War, and Red I think there’s a lot of range there. Also I’m a big fan of his turns in 5th Element, Pulp Fiction, Sin City, Death Becomes Her and Hudson Hawk, so there’s a lot there to like.

As what could ever ruin Die Hard in our memories, there’s really only one thing that could do it: If Willis ever pulls a complete Mel Gibson that might do it. I never though Lethal Weapon or Mad Max or Maverick or Braveheart could be tarnished, but they are almost flat out unwatchable to me now.

Oh, and btw, NICE ANVIL sfx! 😀

    • 😀

I’ve been sitting on them for MONTHS! There hasnt been a worthy movie! LOL Thanks btw, those are pretty nice. 😀

Meanwhile, I dont know. I dont want to sell the man short. He’s a great movie star. But if I had to choose 25 actors… he’s not making the list, bro. (shrugs)

  2. Great show, just wanted to throw my love out there for “Unbreakable”. Maybe not Bruce Willis’ best movie, but my favorite Bruce Willis’ movie, if that makes sense at all..And to think I didn’t even think of it till Tank said it.

  3. OH man, I think I need to put this into the queue until I can see a couple of those films. Looper and The Master in particular.

Also, are you up for another film through the ages?
