Ok, everybody, here we go! The second annual TPMP Decade Draft, this time featuring the movies of the 90s!
Tank, myself, Eclectik of Eclectik Relaxation and Dylan Fields of Man I Love Films all square off trying to draft the best team of ten from amongst all the films released in the 1990s! Check out our rationales and reasons as we make our selections. Come listen in as the trash talk flies. Have a laugh as my favorite films get swiped out from under me again and again! Listen as Tank tries to throw Eclectik off every round with his “Whisper Picks”! It’s a fantastic episode, full of movie clips, banter and of course, the competition itself.
Which of us will come out with the best team? Listen, have fun, and then vote here!
Ok, everyone. Here are the “teams” that were selected during the 2nd Annual (title pending) Movie Draft: The 90s Edition!
In order to level the playing field, we’ve decided to keep the drafters anonymous for the first couple of days, in order to let the teams speak for themselves. The actual draft podcast will be up on Friday! Trust me it’ll be worth the wait!
So. If you want to vote on merit, vote now! If you want to wait and vote for one of the people in the draft, wait ’til Friday when the show is released!
One way or the other, the game is on! Leave us your thoughts and reasonings in the comments! Thanks!
Ok, here we go everybody! This week, we’re going to be holding the 2nd Annual (title pending) Movie Draft, this time, featuring movies from the 1990s. I’ll be putting up a poll so that people can vote for the best team starting tomorrow, and then later this week, I’ll be releasing the podcast, so that you can hear Tank and I draft against Eclectik of the Eclectik Relaxation.com and the Elcectik Discussion Podcast, and Dylan Fields of the LAMBcast and Man I Love Films!
But today, it’s YOUR turn! What were your favorite movies of the 1990s? Was it the gangster movies? Like “Goodfellas”, “Donnie Brasco” and “Pulp Fiction”? The serial killer movies, like “Se7en” and “Silence of the Lambs”? How about the Comedies, like “Austin Powers” or “There’s Something About Mary”?
A lot of great movies were released in the 90s, like “The Shawshank Redemption”, “Fight Club”, “Jurassic Park”, “American Beauty”, “Forrest Gump”… I could go on for a long time!
Which were your favorites? Over that ten-year span, which stood out the most for you? Let’s hear it! What were YOUR Favorite Movies of the 90s?!
